What you can expect from us:

We are open and ready to welcome you through our doors, while adhering to the latest city, state, CDC, and federal guidelines to ensure the safety and peace of mind of our guests and employees. 

Below, you will find frequently asked questions and answers addressing our operating policies and procedures. We appreciate your cooperation and flexibility as we adapt to a new normal. Although we plan to keep this page updated with our latest protocols, please defer to the staff during your in-store visit, as they will have the most current information that may not be reflected here. 

Are your stores open?

Our Manhattan Landmark at 888 Broadway and Brooklyn Outlet at 3906 2nd Ave in Industry City are officially open! To view the most up-to-date hours & contact information, visit our locations page.

We are also taking both in-person & virtual appointments for both guests and trade. You can book an appointment with a Client Specialist in Manhattan here or in Brooklyn here.

Is your Brooklyn outlet open?

Are you open for walk-ins? 

Yes, our doors are officially open to the public. Please see below for a list of precautions we are taking to keep our guests and employees safe.

I want to make an appointment. How does the appointment process work?  

You can make an appointment through Calendly, a software service that connects you to our Client Specialists’ calendars. You will then be prompted to answer a few brief questions so we can prepare and customize your appointment — they should take less than 30 seconds to answer. You’ll then be connected to a Client Specialist based on your needs and will be scheduled for a one-on-one time slot. 

When you arrive at the store, come through our entrance at 38 E 19th St., and someone will provide you with a mask if you don’t have one already. Your client specialist will meet you there.

Are you offering curbside pickup? 

At this time, we are not offering curbside pickup, but we're always working to give you the best shopping experience possible, so check back here or with a Client Specialist in-store for more updates.

Are your restaurants open? 

Yes, all of our restaurants (abc Kitchen, abc Cocina & abcV) are open for both indoor & outdoor dining! Whether you choose to dine with us inside in our dining rooms or outside on our sidewalk or heated pergola, you can trust that we are operating in accordance with the latest city, state, CDC, and federal guidelines.


Here is what you can expect: 

  1. The most up-to-date hours for each restaurant can be found on their pages—abc Kitchen, abc Cocina, abcV. Be sure to check there for updates as we continue to open and add mealtimes.

  2. Our outdoor heated pergola on 35 E 18th St., in front of abc Cocina & abcV, will be exclusively offering our "Taste of abc" menu, which features items from all 3 restaurants. To book this option, choose "Patio" when reserving at abc Cocina or abcV.

  3. Reservations are encouraged but not required, and can only be made through Resy.

  4. All abc restaurant staff will be following the health and safety protocols outlined below.


For delivery or curbside pickup from any of our restaurants, you can order through most delivery platforms, including UberEats, Caviar, Seamless, Grubhub, or Tock.

Our delivery radius varies by service, but is generally two to three miles from our restaurants.


What safety measures are you taking in-store?

The safety of our guests and staff are our primary concern as we begin to reopen. At present, we are taking measures recommended and mandated by the CDC, adhering to guidelines shared by Governor Cuomo, federal regulations, and in most cases we are taking them a step further to create an environment that is as safe and comfortable as can be.

  1. We have security staff dedicated to enforce the safety practices.

  2. We are minimizing capacity in the store and on each floor.

  3. We request that our guests maintain a six feet distance from other people in the store at all times.

  4. Employees are all required to wear face masks, and guests are required to do the same. If you don’t have a face mask, one will be provided.

  5. Hand sanitizing stations (equipped with sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol) are set up throughout the store and at registers, elevators, restrooms, and staircases.

  6. We disinfect all surfaces before, during, and after “open” hours using disinfectants and UVC wands.

  7. We have installed six-foot distancing markers on the floor at elevators, registers, and throughout the store.

  8. For the time being, we will abstain from testing of self-care and beauty products.

  9. Trying on clothing is not permitted at this time.

  10. If you want to test a mattress, our employees will prepare and sanitize the space before and afterwards.

  11. Staff will be provided with masks, which are mandatory to wear during their shift. Gloves will also be provided.

    In addition, staff are required to wash their hands at regular intervals:

  12. Before and after their shift

  13. Before and after their breaks

  14. Before, during, and after preparing food

  15. After blowing their nose, coughing, or sneezing

  16. After touching garbage

  17. Otherwise, every 30 minutes

What precautions and measures are you taking to keep employees safe?

Employees coming to work at abc will be taking a health screening before every shift. The health screening includes a brief series of questions and a temperature check. If employees have a fever, they will be sent home and asked to contact their health care provider. If they have been under the weather or having symptoms related to COVID-19, they will be advised to stay home and get tested.

In addition to the precautions mentioned above:

  1. We are limiting capacity in elevators, breakrooms, and restrooms.

  2. We have installed plexi barriers between registers and stations throughout the store.

  3. UVC wands, phone sanitizers, and iPad sanitizers are available on every floor for employee usage.
